Friday March 20 will mark the second monthly meeting of "Sideways at Sidebar", a MERI (Marriage Equality Rhode Island) sponsored event for Rhode Island lesbians.

According to MERI Communications Director Susan MacNeil, “Our last event [in Februrary] at the Sidebar was so well-received by the lesbians who attended that we’ve decided to create a monthly evening where the community can gather...it’s a chance to relax, talk and invigorate a strong lesbian base to support the work of MERI, as well as raise badly needed funds.”

The event will be held in the exterior lounge at Sidebar (127 Dorrance Street). Light snacks and a cash bar are provided.
